How to delete your account and data
You can permanently delete your Emm AI account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app:
- Open Emm AI and sign in
- Go to Settings
- Under "Delete Account", type DELETE to confirm
- Confirm the deletion
This immediately removes your account and signs you out.
If you cannot sign in
If you are unable to sign in (for example, you have lost access to your login provider), email us and we will delete your account and data for you:
- Email: support@actingweb.io
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We respond within 10 days, usually much sooner
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- All memory items you have stored
- All standing instructions and output-wiki artefacts
- All AI agent connections and access grants
- All properties, preferences, and account settings
- Your profile information (email address and display name)
Sign in with Apple, Google, and GitHub
If you signed in with Apple, Google, or GitHub, deleting your account also revokes the connection between Emm AI and that provider, so Emm AI can no longer access your provider identity.
Deletion timeline
- Your account and data are removed from the live service immediately
- Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 35 days as backups rotate
- OAuth tokens are revoked immediately upon account deletion
Data we may retain
We do not retain your memories or account content after deletion. Limited records required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, payment records held by our payment processor) may be kept as required by law, separately from your account content.
